Texas Medical Center

University of Houston-Clear Lake's College of Business started its Healthcare Administration program at the Texas Medical Center (TMC) in 2006. TMC, the largest medical center in the world, is home to many of the nation's best hospitals, physicians, researchers, educational institutions and health care providers, and is known throughout the world for its quality patient care and excellence in teaching and research. It employs more than 93,000 individuals and annual patient visits exceed 6 million. Its 49 member institutions include 25 government agencies, 24 private not-for-profit health institutions, 21 academic institutions, 14 hospitals, 3 medical schools, and 6 nursing schools.
