I encourage you to contact the Dean of Students office if:
- A personal emergency has caused/will cause you to miss classes.
- You are unable to complete a semester.
Although we will not excuse you from classes, my office will notify your professors
and academic dean to apprise them of your situation. You will be asked to provide
documentation verifying your emergency as soon as possible. The longer you wait to
contact me, the harder it is for me to support you.
If you are failing and are unsure how to proceed, contact us before the official drop date to see if there are resources available that you didn't know about. The sooner you
let us know you are having difficulties, the better we can assist you.
If your situation requires you to consider withdrawing from one or all your classes,
contact us as soon as possible so we can assist you with possible options, withdrawal
procedures and re-enrolling procedures. Be cognizant of the official drop date and
refer to the university catalog regarding withdrawals.
If you are considering dropping a class or a complete withdrawal for the semester,
