Description: Staver Law Group PC was founded to help people from all walks of life in their personal injury matters, and every day we help those who have been hurt in car accidents or other types of personal injury situations and are struggling to keep up with medical bills and their daily lives. Our firm is offering a $5,000 scholarship to aid one student in achieving their educational and future career goals whose essay shows an understanding and appreciation for the type of work we do.
Eligibility: Be a United States citizen or permanent resident. Be accepted to or currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or graduate program within the United States. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants should also demonstrate good character and strong motivation despite challenges.

Name/Organization: Boling Rice LLC

Description: Boling Rice LLC is once again offering a $1000 scholarship prize! We had tremendous results last year, and hope to do it again this year. Peter Castro was our grand prize winner! You may view his winning essay here... 

We are honored to offer this opportunity to existing or incoming college students. The winner will be determined through an essay contest which should include originality, quality writing, and responsiveness to the contest topic. The deadline for entries is December 31, 2016.

Description: We're a locally owned and operated lawn service company that's offering a scholarship for the first year ever due to recent success and a little bit of inspiration from one of our employees who's currently taking night classes. Our scholarship is geared towards students who would like to start a business. Our essay is pretty open ended to encourage creativity. All we need is a copy of each applicant's updated resume and most current transcript along with their original essay response.

Description: Eyewitness Surveillance is a leader in commercial surveillance, providing interactive video surveillance to reduce or eliminate the need for onsite guard services. They are offering a scholarship to students pursuing a degree in criminal justice or information technology. There will be one scholarship winner for $1,000.
The Future of Video Surveillance Scholarship by Eyewitness Surveillance:
In an essay of at least 1,000 words, answer one of the following questions: (1) "How do you envision video surveillance playing a role in your professional and personal life in the next 10 years?" (2) "What impact do you think your generation will have on video and electronic monitoring in 10 years?"

Name/Organization: Dallas Car Accident Lawyers Cancer Awareness Scholarship

Description:  Deadline for Application: December 15, 2016
The majority of our team here at has seen how drastically cancer can change a life. We know that the effects of a diagnosis are usually life altering, and the treatment process is often an uphill battle in itself. In knowing this, we still believe that cancer should not be an impediment to fulfilling a person’s hopes and dreams. Which is why we want to help a student who has been affected by cancer complete their college education and embark on a path towards a career in the field of their choice. It’s our hope that this scholarship will inspire young people who have been affected by cancer lead inspired lives and make a difference in the world. Description: Mullen & Mullen Law Firm offers one $2,500 scholarship annually to a college-bound high school senior, or already enrolled college student, who lost a family member or whose family member they depended on was seriously injured or disabled due to another's negligence, and this loss or injury is affecting the student's ability to pay for or attend college. It is also open to a student who was injured or debilitated in an accident or injury caused by someone else and needs assistance to pay for school.
