Below is a listing of scholarship information that UHCL receives directly from donors and organizations sponsoring scholarships. Please check back as scholarships change often. (updated: April 6th 2016)




  • Amount of Scholarship Award - $500.00
  • EZstorit "Get Ahead Scholarship" will be sent directly to scholarship recipient.
  • Applications accepted between April 1, 2016 - July 11, 2016.

Eligibility: To be eligible for consideration, applicant must:

  • Be enrolled at the time of application as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college of university.
  • Demonstrate successful completion of the previous year's study by maintaining at least a 2.75 accumulated grade point average.

Name/Organization: David Resnick & Associates, P.C.

Description: David Resnick & Associates, P.C., is excited to announce its very first scholarship program to help students nationwide, who write winning essays, to further their education. The firm will be offering a combined scholarship grant worth $2,000 and we are enthusiastic to provide students a chance to continue their learning.

Eligibility: Any student nationwide pursuing a 2 or 4 year college degree that wants to attend law school.

Description: The Fence Authority Scholarship for students pursuing a degree related to the beautification and improvement of our communities, and are rewarding the recipient with a $1,000 grant towards their educational pursuits.

Eligibility: Applicant must be planning a career which dedicates them to improving and benefiting our communities.  Applicant must have earned a high school diploma or GED.  Academic Level: Applicants must plan to complete at least 15 units in their major during their Freshman year of college  Enrollment: Applicants must be enrolled full time in an accepted major during the 2016-2017 school year.  Residency: Applicants must be a US Citizen attending or accepted into a US college or university. Description: Discountrue wants to help you with your school expenses, that's why we have decided to launch a biannual scholarship opportunity. The winner will be chosen on the basis of an essay and will receive $3,000 on educational expenses. For more information visit:

Description: The Innovation Scholarship, sponsored by Crystal Group, was founded in 2014 as a way to celebrate and encourage the spirit of innovation. At Crystal Group, we embrace innovation in all aspects of our business, including our rugged computing product line, our approach to sales, marketing and engineering, and our business culture.

The Crystal Group Innovation Scholarship is awarded each year to (2) full-time students pursuing an undergraduate degree within the School of Business, the School of Engineering, or related majors.

Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:  Enrolled full-time in an undergraduate business program (major), engineering program (major), or related major working toward a bachelor's degree, at an accredited two-year or four-year institution, located in the United States. Description: We are providing a scholarship worth $500 to help the students who are in need of financial help. Any graduate from the University can apply for this scholarship.

Description: $1,000 scholarship designed to help active duty members, veterans, and their families continue their education

Name/Organization: Boling Rice LLC

Description: Boling Rice LLC is once again offering a $1000 scholarship prize! We had tremendous results last year, and hope to do it again this year. Peter Castro was our grand prize winner! You may view his winning essay here... 

We are honored to offer this opportunity to existing or incoming college students. The winner will be determined through an essay contest which should include originality, quality writing, and responsiveness to the contest topic. The deadline for entries is December 31, 2016.
