- Patio Café - Located on the first floor in the Bayou Building, features a variety of food options, including Starbucks, fresh, homemade soup and sandwiches, and a grill for burgers and chicken. We occasionally host some of Houston's popular Food Trucks offering a variety of cuisines.
- UHCL Bookstore - Offers faculty and staff a 10% discount on apparel with a valid UHCL ID.

- The Art School for Children through the School of Human Sciences and Humanities, provides model art classes for children in the Clear Lake area and surrounding communities.
- Kids U: Each summer the Center for Educational Programs conducts a day camp for children comprised of 7 different "academies" which each offer a series of courses in areas of technology, science, math, language, writing, and world geography.
