UHCL Pearland hosts inaugural TMAC conference

University of Houston- Clear Lake (UHCL) recently hosted its inaugural Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center (TMAC) conference at its Pearland location. The mission of the TMAC is to boost the growth and competitiveness of Texas manufacturers, and assists both small and large companies with technology acceleration, supply chain management, sustainability, workforce development, and continuous improvement. As a Gulf Coast region member of TMAC, UH-Clear Lake offers manufacturers opportunities to improve profitability through skill and regulation-required training, process improvement, and productivity enhancement.

UHCL’s 1974 Society Members Recognized at Inaugural Dinner

University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL) recently hosted the inaugural 1974 Society Dinner to recognize and celebrate members of the newly established 1974 Society. As UHCL celebrates its 50^th anniversary, the 1974 Society was launched to recognize those who give or commit $25,000 or more during the anniversary campaign ending December 31, 2028. Special thanks were also extended to members of the Neumann Society, recognizing donors who have given a cumulative $100,000 or more to the university and the UHCL In Tempore Legacy Society, recognizing those who have made planned gifts.

Registration for the summer and fall semesters at UHCL is now underway. Whether students are looking to pursue a career, change careers, or move up in their current career field, UHCL provides opportunities for students to grow both professionally and personally.  As a UHCL student, students gain resume-building experience in programs that combine hands-on projects with real-world training.
