Throughout the academic year, the IISS Office sponsors various cultural programs and events. We recognize and celebrate the significance of the various heritage of our global society. For example, we hold many events and programs during Native American Heritage Month, Hispanic Heritage Month and Black History Month. We also celebrate Women's History Month,  International Women's Day, and International Education Week. Furthermore, we provide support and resources to some cultural events our UHCL student organizations sponsor such as Diwali (ISA), Cultural Evening (ISO) and Cinco de Mayo (HACE). Our office is committed to promoting and educating the UHCL community through fun, exciting and enriching events!
