The Multicultural Advisory Board offers students the opportunity to make a real difference on campus. Students who serve on this board have the chance to work closely with the Intercultural & International Student Services (IISS) Office. They also have the opportunity to "provide a voice for the university's diverse community" as well as develop their leadership abilities. It's a great way to influence change at UHCL.
Students work with various constituents from the university, including current students, alumni, faculty, staff and administrators. The purpose of this board is to provide a voice for the university’s diverse community, addressing issues associated with a culturally diverse population, such as support services, student needs, recruitment and retention issues, and sensitivity training.
