Piper Award Nominations

Deadline: Friday, October 5, 2007 at 12:00 noon

Faculty and students are encouraged to nominate an outstanding professor.

The UHCL Piper Award Committee, composed of an equal number of students and faculty, selects one professor to be honored for excellence in teaching. This professor then represents the university in competition for the 2008 Minnie Stevens Piper Award, a prestigious and valuable teaching prize.

Nomination forms are available online (.doc) and at the main entrances of all UHCL buildings.

Completed forms may be e-mailed to Dr. Biggers at Biggers@uhcl.edu from your UHCL e-mail account only. Completed paper nomination forms require a signature and may be submitted via

• Drop boxes located at the main entrance of all UHCL buildings
• Dropped off at Office of AVP for Student Services, B2525
• Mailed to UHCL box #349
