Budding young artists can explore their talents while also learning about popular landscape artists during the Art School for Children and Young Adults summer session, June 6 – July 3. Classes, designed for pre-school through high school age children, meet twice a week for one to two hour sessions. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. – noon. Tuition fees range from $80-125. Kids’ U Registration

Kids’ U will offer a variety of summer learning courses to local elementary through high school students. Courses will be held throughout the summer with sessions usually running for one week beginning in June. Registration for summer 2008 courses can be made during regular Center for Educational Program hours, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Enrollment will continue until classes are filled. Reading, Writing, Spelling and Study Skills Tutoring Registration

UH-Clear Lake offers one-on-one tutoring in reading, writing, spelling and study skills tutoring for students in first- through 12th-grade through the Center for Educational Programs. Tutoring sessions led by School of Education students and supervised by university faculty will be held Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. Sessions are $300 per child attending. 10th Houston Area Community College Student Exhibit

UH-Clear Lake, in partnership with The Arts Alliance at Clear Lake, presents the 10th Houston Area Community College Student exhibit. This multimedia exhibit will features the work of community college students throughout the Bay Area and beyond. An opening reception will be held April 24 from 6:30 – 9 p.m. Admission is free.
