Pay

Pay the non-refundable application fee of $35.00 or the non-refundable international student application fee of $75.00

Submit transcripts

Degree-seeking students should submit official transcripts from every college or university attended to the Office of Admissions. To expedite processing, request transcripts be sent electronically. Hand-delivered transcripts should not be more than 60 days old and in a sealed envelope from the issuing institution. International students should see International Admissions within the Office of Admissons for additional requirements.

Submit test score

The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) must be met prior to admission for all undergraduate students. This requirement can be met in various ways. Most students have met this requirement by passing all three components of the TASP/THEA exam. The results should be noted clearly on your transcript. See our Web site and catalog for TSI exemptions.

All students regardless of immigration status who are citizens of countries where English is not the native language must demonstrate English proficiency by taking the TOEFL prior to admission. A score of 550 on the paper exam of the TOEFL is required with section scores of at least 50. A score of 213 is required on computer-based TOEFL scores. A minimum score of 6.0 is required on the IELTS and 79-80 on the ibt TOEFL. Scores cannot be more than two years old. Only scores sent from the testing center will be accepted. The Web site and catalog lists possible ways to qualify for a TOEFL waiver.

International students are required to submit additional documentation. Please see International Procedures for a complete listing of required documents.

Non-degree seeking students should submit official transcripts from the institution where the highest degree was earned and from the last institution attended.

You can check the status of your application online by clicking the Check Status button on the admissions home page. You will need your user ID and password.
