You have been admitted, now what?
Congratulations! You’ve been admitted to the University of Houston-Clear Lake. We are excited to welcome you as a member of our community. What’s next?
Steps to a successful first semester experience.
- Meet with an Enrollment Management Counselor. Counselors meet with entering undergraduate and graduate students who have questions about degree programs and appropriate classes. Academic advisers are also available for each degree program. Once you’ve been admitted, they will develop a degree program for you.
- Inquire about financial aid and scholarships. There are many ways to help you pay for college. You can apply for a payment plan, short-term loan, scholarship, or grants. Contact the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarship at 281-283-2480 for more details.
- Get your current class schedule. You can find your current class schedule only online at www.edu/records.
- Plan your schedule. Planning tips are available here. Know the registration periods you can use for registration. If you are eligible for Early Registration, know your appointment time.
- Register for classes. Use E-Services.
- Get parking! Don’t forget to order your parking decal when you register!
- Get your student ID card. To obtain your card, go to the Office of Student Life in the Student Services and Classroom Building.
