New Student Orientation

At the start of every semester, we present New Student Orientation to help you:  

• Get to know our campus life  
• Understand our procedures  
• Meet your academic advisers  
• Meet faculty and staff  
• Learn the registration process  
• Become familiar with the physical layout of the campus  
• Meet current students who "know the ropes"

All new students are strongly encouraged to participate.

International Student Orientation

The Office of Intercultural and International Student Services (IISS) hosts separate orientations for incoming international students. During orientation, you can:  

• Get to know our campus life  
• Understand our procedures  
• Meet your academic advisers  
• Learn the registration process  
• Become familiar with the physical layout of the campus  
• Find out about International Student Health Insurance as well as other information important to you

All new international students are required to attend.

If you have registered for an online or Web-enhanced class, your orientation is, of course, online.
