Welcome to the Office of Admissions at the University of Houston-Clear Lake!  We thank you for your interest.  Before you begin the application process, please read the following information. As an applicant, you are responsible for ensuring that all admission requirements are met at the time that you apply.

Include:

1. Education or academic history information

      (For all regionally accredited institutions attended)

·        Exact dates of attendance

·        Number of hours earned

·        Degrees earned

2. Personal data

·        e-mail address

·        emergency contact information

3. Credit card information  (for on-line payment of the application fee*)

*The application fee is non-refundable

Fee – Undergraduate and Graduate Applicants

·        Domestic                $35.00

·        International            $75.00

Fee – Doctoral (Educational Leadership EdD)

·        Domestic                $95.00

·        International            $135.00

4. If you have applied to UHCL within the last year and are not applying to a new academic program, you should not complete a new application; also, a new application fee is not required. Please fill out an application update request.
5. If you are applying to the Doctoral program (Educational Leadership EdD), please complete the Doctoral Addendum at the end of the application.

Before applying to UHCL, you should review the appropriate admissions requirements for your selected career (graduate or undergraduate), program, and academic plan.  The application may be updated for one year after the semester for which you initially applied.

Applicants are welcome to meet with an Enrollment Management Counselor at any time in the application process.  Please bring copies of transcripts for review.

All transcripts and documents received by the Office of Admissions become the property of UHCL. We will not return original documents to the student or provide photocopied reproductions.
