ATS scholarships will be credited to UHCL student accounts 7 days prior to the first class day of the fall and/or spring semester. ATS recipients enrolled for less than 9 credit hours on the 12th class day may have their scholarship reversed and the credit will become a debit.
Renewal Eligibility for the Second Year
Scholarships will be automatically renewed for the second year to students who:
Received the scholarship in their first year
Maintained consecutive enrollment in the first two long semesters at UHCL
Earned a minimum of 18 semester hours of academic credit at UHCL before the start of the 3rd long semester.
Maintained a cumulative UHCL GPA no lower than the initial transfer GPA
Enrolled in 9 or more hours at UHCL in the third consecutive long semester
Renewal Amount
$1000 for the second year ($500 each long semester) if this amount was disbursed in the first year
$800 for the second year ($400 each long semester) if this amount was disbursed in the first year
