	Spring 2012 Commencement Kick-Off Friday, May 18 5:30-7 p.m. Bayou Building, Atrium II President and Mrs. William A. Staples invite the Spring 2012 UHCL grads and their families to celebrate their graduation at Commencement Kick-Off. Celebrate your academic achievements with live music entertainment; photo opportunities with the president, the dean of your school and your favorite professors; door prizes; and more. Your children and families are welcome to join in the celebration. Casual attire. Reception-style appetizers, desserts and refreshments will be served. Complimentary parking for the evening will be available in the Student Lot. Tickets are required for all attendees (including graduates). Three (3) complimentary tickets are available for each graduate. Additional tickets may be purchased for $2 each. Pick up or purchase additional tickets at the Office of Student Life (SSCB, first floor), Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon, or at the Office of University Advancement (Bayou 1604), Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

	AlumNight Tuesday, May 22 5-7 p.m. Edgewater Community – Coventry Homes Gather at the Coventry Homes model within the Edgewater Community (100 Water Street, Webster) with fellow UH-Clear Lake alumni at a fun reception and networking event. AAEC Meetings

University of Houston Clear Lake's Alumni Association Executive Council (AAEC) meets quarterly on the 3rd Thursday of August, November, February and May. An annual planning retreat is held each July. All alumni are invited to get involved by attending an AAEC meeting to meet your leadership and share your thoughts and ideas. The upcoming AAEC and committee meetings are as follows:

AlumNight Events

UHCL AlumNights are casual networking receptions held throughout the community designed to give alumni the opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new connections.
