UHCL AlumNights are casual networking receptions held throughout the community designed to give alumni the opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new connections. AlumNights also give local businesses the chance to reach out to UHCL's more than 54,000 alumni.

This AlumNight is a great opportunity to mix and mingle with fellow alumni and upper level management at Target...at no cost to you. Enjoy a fine selection of refreshments from Target's deli and bakery while learning about their senior management positions in Houston and community involvement. Target is a leader in the retail industry who values diversity in all aspects of their business. They have built an amazing team of people with various backgrounds and experiences, developed relationships with minority and women-owned suppliers, and play an active role in volunteer and sponsorship opportunities in our communities. Target has also partnered with UHCL on recruiting efforts to support students and alumni.

Thank you for your interest in hosting a UHCL AlumNight. Each AlumNight is preferably held on a weekday evening. Below are a few guidelines to help in the planning of your event.

Publicity for the event, including recognition for your business, in:
Registration table at the event with name tags, alumni association pins and university literature
UHCL staff and alumni to act as hosts for the event
Provided by the host and/or event venue
Space to host 30-50 guests
Parking for 30-50 guests
Food and beverages for 30-50 guests (hors d'oeuvres and beverages of your choice; alcoholic beverages optional**) **If the AlumNight host business or individual chooses to serve alcohol during the event, it is the responsibility of the host to do so in a responsible manner to avoid overconsumption.
A one to two minute "welcome" to the attendees at the event (optional)

If you are interested in hosting an AlumNight of your own, please take a moment to fill out the form below. Be sure to include your e-mail address in case we need to contact you for clarification. When finished, click the "Submit" button and you should receive confirmation from the Alumni and Community Relations Office within three (3) business days.
In order to publicize your AlumNight, the UHCL Office of Alumni and Community Relations must have all event details, including confirmed date and company logo (if applicable), at least six (6) weeks prior to the date of your AlumNight. Please send company logo in an EPS or JPEG format to funderburg@uhcl.edu for use in publicity.
