How do I become an Alumni Association member?
As a UHCL graduate or recipient of a teacher’s certificate, you are automatically a member of the UHCL Alumni Association – no dues necessary! This means that you have access to the entire family of alumni, plus a host of great benefits. What are the benefits of becoming a Lifetime Member?
Contributions for Lifetime Membership help fund one of the largest privately funded scholarships at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, the UHCL Alumni Association Scholarship Endowment. Life time members receive free parking, library privileges, a UHCL e-mail account, access to campus computer labs and invitations to select events in addition to the whole host of benefits provided to Alumni Association members. How do I request an official transcript?
Transcripts are provided through the Office of Academic Records. For more information, visit http://prtl.uhcl.edu/portal/page/portal/AR/Request_transcript or call 281-283-2525.
I never received a Alumni Association membership card. How can I get one?
Your Alumni Association membership card is your all access pass to the host of great benefits offered to UHCL Alumni. To receive a card, fill out and request the request form. A card will be mailed to you upon receipt of the form. If you still have not received you membership I. D. card or if you have questions about the benefits provided by Alumni Association membership, contact the Office of Alumni and Community Relations, 281-283-2019.
How can I receive a duplicate diploma?
Diplomas are issued by the Office of Academic Records, 281-283-2525.
How can I get involved in the UHCL Alumni Association?
UHCL Alumni Association, led by the Office of Alumni and Community Relations and the Alumni Association Executive Council (AAEC), works to contact, engage, serve, empower and acknowledge alumni through meaningful services, events and outreach. We invite your involvement with alumni events and committees. To get involved, please complete the involvement form or call 281-283-2021.
How can I update my information?
To update your information, please complete the Class Notes form or call the Office of Alumni and Community Relations, 281-283-2021.
I have good news. How can I share it with fellow alumni?
If you’ve moved, switched jobs, received a promotion, married your sweetheart, had a baby, retired or received a special honor or award, let us know! Simply send us the information via the Class Notes form.
How can I receive eConnections or Your UHCL?
To sign-up for UHCL e-Communications, visit University of Houston-Clear Lake's e-Communications center. Alumni can sign-up for eConnections, Your UHCL and general UHCL e-Communications.
How can I make a donation to UHCL?

How do I nominate a alumnus/alumna or professor for an Alumni Association award?
To nominate an individual for an Alumni Association Award, visit the Alumni Honors and Awards web page for a list of awards and nomination forms.
I am an alumnus/alumna. How can I get a copy of the alumni magazine, Egret?
If you would like to request a print version of the publication, contact the University of Houston-Clear Lake Office of Communications, 2700 Bay Area Blvd., Box 199, Houston, Texas 77058, 281-283-2015, news@uhcl.edu. You can also view a full version of Egret online, www.uhcl.edu/egret.
What career services are available to alumni?
UHCL's Office of Career Services offers variety of services, both online and in-person, to assist alumni in their job search. For more information, visit www.uhcl.edu/careerservices or call 281-283-2590.
What continuing education courses are available to alumni?
UHCL alumni can continue their education through free computer training classes offered by the University of Houston System IT Training Department; face-to-face courses offered by the Center for Advanced Management Programs and the Foreign Language Program; and through special leanring events, including lectures offered by the Clear Lake Association of Senior Programs.
