The UHCL Alumni Association is calling for nominations for its most prestigious awards recognizing extraordinary accomplishments and service.

Deadline for submission is April 30.

All Alumni Association Award winners are honored at the annual Alumni Celebration and Distinguished Alumni names are engraved on a granite display in Alumni Plaza.

Alumni Association Awards

Distinguished Alumni Award honors UHCL graduates who have made significant contributions to society and whose accomplishments and careers have brought credit to the university.

Early Achievement Award is granted to a UHCL alumna/alumnus, age 45 or younger, for significant accomplishments in business or professional life, or for service to the university and/or the UHCL Alumni Association.

Leadership Service Award is presented to an alumnus/a whose exceptional contributions to UHCL and its community strengthens and supports the values and the mission of the university.

Outstanding Professor Award honors UHCL professors who embody the fulfillment of learning and discovery by utilizing innovative teaching methods to inspire students and building a sense of community among students through active involvement with student organizations, shared governance and mentoring. Honorees share a passion for the university, its mission and the potential for change through education.
