Alumni Association Scholarship Endowment
The Alumni Association has created the largest privately funded scholarship program on campus. Since its inception in 2000, the endowment has awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships to new and returning students.
Scholarship Requirements
Major: Any UHCL degree program
GPA: 3.0
Status: Full-time or part-time; undergraduate or graduate
Financial Need: Will be a factor
Specifics:
- Commitment to volunteer in at least one Alumni event each long semester for the duration of the scholarship award
- During the last long semester of the award period, attend an Alumni board meeting and give or write a statement up to one page describing
- How you have benefited from community and/or university involvement;
- The importance of receiving a degree from UHCL;
- How you plan to contribute to UHCL after graduation;
