How do I get started? Visit the Distance Education Web site at http://www.uhcl.edu/disted Admissions Requirements The admissions, registrations and payment processes for Distance and Off-Campus students are identical to those for students participating in on-campus degree programs. Summer semester offers even greater flexibility with terms ranging in length from three to nine weeks. Online Courses UHCL offers degree programs, courses and certificates that can be completed entirely online. To participate in online courses, students will need access to a computer and the Internet. Students are free to do class work online at any time, but assignments are due as specified in the class syllabus. NOTE: Classes are NOT open entrance/open exit. Classes are NOT traditional correspondence courses.
