Welcome to Bayousphere!

The University of Houston-Clear Lake publishes Bayousphere annually to provide a creative outlet for its students and the community. Students enrolled in Magazine Publication produce the literary art magazine as part of the course curriculum. Bayousphere accepts submissions in the areas of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, art, photography and digital media. Each entry is blind reviewed by the editorial staff and a certificate of merit is awarded to the highest-scoring work in each category.
