How to view and print trees

Trees are used to provide a hierarchy for reporting and editing purposes.  The most commonly used trees are:

BUD_EXPENSE                  Lists the expenditure accounts that roll up to the expense budget nodes

BUD_REVENUE                  Lists the revenue accounts that roll up to the revenue budget nodes

DEPTID_ROLLUP                Provides the hierarchy of department numbers for producing reports

NAV IGATION:  Tree Manager – Tree Viewer

1.      Enter the name of the tree in the search box.

2.      Click  Search.

3.      Choose the latest effective dated tree.  If the tree is by campus, be sure to choose the UHCL tree (00759).

The tree is displayed:

     4.      Click the Print Format link to view a printer friendly version of the tree.

     5.      Click the printer icon on the internet toolbar to print the tree.
