Five certificate programs are available in Management Information Systems. These certificates are designed for professionals who want to (1) refine their IT skills; (2) expand their IT skills; (3) refine/enhance their skills but don’t want to pursue a master’s degree; (4) refine/expand their IT skills without going for another master’s degree.

Certificates can be earned as part of a master’s degree. Students earning certificates without being enrolled in a master’s degree may request permission to apply certificate courses to a degree program at a later date. Students earning certificates must officially apply to receive their certificates in the Office of Academic Records within the first three weeks of the semester in which they are enrolled in their final certificate course.

Students without 6 hours of college level programming must take ISAM 5030 in addition to the requirements stated below.
