MHA/MBA Dual Degree

Challenges in today’s health care sector have created a rising demand for leaders who not only have sound business skills, but are prepared to manage limited resources in a rapidly changing health care environment. UHCL’s dual-degree MHA/MBA program is designed for health care managers and clinicians who require enhanced business competencies in order to achieve their career goals.

Our curriculum provides students with the tools to function in a health care system increasingly driven by business principles. Our graduates will have the knowledge and skills for significant professional advancement in a wide range of health-related settings. Our program maintains high academic quality, while providing flexible and convenient options both in the classroom and online.

Through this dual-degree program, students can obtain both degrees in as few as 57 credit hours, rather than the 78 credit hours required for both degrees individually.

Our healthcare administration faculty are some of the best and brightest in their fields with a strong combination of business and health care insight. They hold PhD’s and have worked as professionals in their chosen fields, bringing real-world business experience to their students.
