DISCOVER: Computer-Assisted Career Exploration

With DISCOVER, you can

• Inventory your interests, skills, and values
• Obtain information about academic majors and careers
• Review elements of a successful job search
• Keep your saved information under your login for later access

Use DISCOVER on

• The Student pc in Career Services
• Any computer as long as you have a user ID or token to login to DISCOVER.
  
  Directions
  1. Request a temporary login ID from Career Services or Counseling Services.
  2. Go to www.act.org/discover/login.
  3. Login using the temporary login ID and blank password .
  4. Change your temporary login ID and create a new password. Keep a record of your new login.
  5. Answer a few profile questions.
  6. As you working with DISCOVER, save information you may want to look back on later. Remember, your information is saved under your new login.
