Library Services for Distance Education Students

The Alfred R. Neumann Library is the key to distance-learning success at UHCL. Some Library resources available online are:

  • Access or request most Neumann Library resources and materials online.

  • Ask a Librarian - Library staff also are available to assist you in your course-related research via the web, email or by phone.

  • Access to online Databases - Off-campus access to more than 180 databases, including many full-text and full-image resources, is available.

  • Request a Journal Article.

  • Request a book.

  • Suggest a book. UHCL students, faculty and staff may recommend the purchase of specific books for the library collection.

  • Make a comment or suggestion online.

  • Get a TexShare card to borrow at any cooperating TexShare Library.

Most of the library's contents can be accessed online. For more information about the library services for distance learning students go to http://www.uhcl.edu/library.
