Teaching children about the natural world should be treated as one of the
most important events in their lives.  –Thomas Berry

Discovering Nature Camp is designed to get kids outside and learning about our environment. Activities for our 2011 camp included insect sweeping, making and looking for animal tracks, fishing, bird watching, geocaching, and much more.

Who should attend Discovering Nature Camp?

EIH welcomes students entering grades 1 - 6 who want to learn about their natural surroundings. EIH will provide many opportunities for outdoor exploration, wildlife observation, and fun.
