| Tyler Ahnemann, manager of academic programs at the Houston Zoo, and Sally Wall, curriculum specialist at EIH, presented the Biodiversity Workshop on Saturday, March 4th, which focused on the importance of biodiversity. Ten science teacher mentors (STMs) and 11 cadre members (CMs) attended the workshop held at the Houston Zoo.
Teachers participated in activities that incorporated classification, endangered and extinct species, food webs, chains and other ecosystems interactions. Teachers received content and activities that will help them in the classroom.
