The Earth - Moon Comparison workshop was held at the Lunar Planetary Institute on May 11, 2006. Stephanie Shipp and Christine Shupla of LPI's education department presented the three-hour workshop. Activities included origin of the Moon theories, black light activity to teach the phases of the Moon, and the anatomy of a crater. Also, misconceptions of the Moon were discussed. Teachers received several classroom resources including a CD and lithographs of the solar system.
