Sixteen STMs and nine CMs attendeda the Life Science with Lab-Aids workshop on April 24. The three-hour workshop was presented by Oralia Gil of Lab-Aids. Collaborative members created a critter by "breeding" two adults with different genetic traits. This activity demonstrated how dominant and recessive genes manifest in offspring. Other activities included the strawberry lab which allowed participants to extract DNA and a natural selection activity.
