Welcome to a new year with UHCL-ESA! As we begin this new academic year, we also begin the 9th year for the UHCL Educational Support Association. The 2009-2010 Theme chosen by President Berenice Webster is “The Wings of Success.”
The membership committee would like you to join your peers by renewing your Educational Support Association membership this year and enjoy the benefits of professional growth. By becoming an ESA member you join a group of dedicated and professional employees and will have the opportunity to participate in various activities. Highlights of ESA activities last year include:
- General Meeting Programs covering a wide range of interesting topics
- Annual Holiday Cookie Exchange
- Candy sale, theme basket and other fundraising activities, raising over $891 this past year for professional development
- Annual Holiday Assistance at Bay Area Turning Point
- STEM and HR Training Sessions
- Participation in University Events such as PASA Walk of Success, Veteran’s Day Celebration, March of Dimes Walk, and Family Campaign fundraising, Light the Night Walk for Leukemia and Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Walk
- Annual Supervisors’ Appreciation Luncheon
- Participation in TESA Fall and Summer Work Conferences
- Off Campus Lunches
