Scholarships

New Student Scholarships

• Workforce Solutions -  Early Childhood majors who are teachers, directors or assistant directors in Head Start, Licensed Child Care Centers or in Registered/Licensed Family Child Care Homes (includes owners). Scholarships are for courses in early childhood education.
• Automatic Transfer – A scholarship for new first-time, degree seeking undergraduate students. The student must be a Texas resident or a non-resident transferring from a Texas college or university.
• Dollars For Scholars – Available for new students who are undergraduate paying non-resident tuition or a graduate student who is paying resident or non-resident tuition.
• SCE Dean’s Scholarship – Available for new students enrolling in select majors who have already applied to UHCL, you must be planning to take 6 hours or more.
