Satish & Kamlesh Agarwal MIS Scholarship

Accepting applications through July 6, 2014

You may apply for both scholarships with this one application. Recipients will not receive both awards.

The initial award is $1,000 / $500 for fall 2014 and $500 for spring 2015. Non-Texas Residents and International students who receive the scholarship are eligible to pay Texas resident tuition for the academic year of the award which is fall 2014, spring 2015 & summer 2015.

Application Eligibility

Must have applied to UHCL, paid the application fee and have a UHCL identification number

Criteria

  • Major: Management Information Systems, School of Business
  • GPA: Minimum 3.0 as calculated by UHCL Admissions
  • Status: Priority given to incoming first time UHCL MIS Graduate Students enrolling in a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester for fall 2014 & spring 2015. Current MIS graduate students enrolled in a minimum of 6 hours will also be considered.

Required Documentation

  • Application Cover Sheet
  • Essay: One page minimum – 2 page maximum, 12 pt. font, double spaced
    describe your career and education goals
