To enhance, enrich, and enable, the physical environment and facilities of the University of Houston -Clear Lake in the most appropriate and cost effective way possible, in order to provide a pleasant, safe, and accessible place in support of the university wide mission of teaching and research.

Introduction to Department

The design/construction aspect of this department is to effect positive changes, repairs, and enhancements to the facilities of the University of Houston - Clear Lake while balancing cost effectiveness with enduring quality. Also, to provide safe, attractive and appropriate environments for the evolving needs of the University. The Office of Space Planning maintains accurate information pertaining to the University of Houston - Clear Lake, in order to provide support, analysis and accurate space inventory information which will aid campus officials and administrators in making business and educational decisions.
