The Mascot Leadership Team, facilitated by the executive director of communications and composed of representatives from Academic Affairs, Administration and Finance, and President/University Advancement, manages the process of developing a mascot for UHCL. This team presents recommendations to the president, who in consultation with the provost and senior vice president for academic affairs and the vice president for administration and finance, provide final approval at key points throughout the process.
