Mize receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Dr. Leslye Mize received the Life-time Achievement Award from the Texas Association for Marriage & Family Therapy at the annual conference on March 29, 2008 in Galveston, Texas.  Dr. Michael Bishop, president of the board, and Dr. Sue Levin, past-president of the board presented the award to Dr. Mize highlighting her work as an academic and trainer of MFTs in Texas.  This award is not given yearly and is only given with unanimous board support.  Further, it is only given to those who have made contributions that have gone above and beyond a lifetime career in the profession.
