Graduate Admission Requirements

Admission to the Professional Psychology Programs at UHCL is competitive. You must submit the program application materials between December 10 and January 25 for admission to the program in the following summer/fall.

Step 1: Apply for admission to the University of Houston-Clear Lake

Step 2: Apply to the Professional Psychology Programs between December 10 and January 25. Minimum eligibility is an earned a bachelor's degree from an approved regionally accredited institution and eligibility to return to the last institution attended. The program normally requires a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.2. Applicants must also complete fifteen hours of prerequisite undergraduate psychology courses and the general test of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE).
