Featured Speaker: Dr. Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni Dr. Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni is an award-winning author, acclaimed poet, and founder of Maitri, a non-profit support service for South Asian Women. She is the author of poetry, short fiction, and novels, including Queen of Dreams, Mistress of Spices, and Sister of My Heart. Divakaruni’s writing most often centers around the lives of immigrant women.
