You have several options for completing this degree:

  • Thesis (30-Hour Plan)

  • Project (36-Hour Plan)

  • Internship (36-Hour Plan)

  • Comprehensive Written Exam (36-Hour Plan)

Students entering this program will elect Track I Plan and complete a minimum of 15 hours in either Professional Writing or Applied Graphic Design, or they may combine courses from both areas.  Students choosing the 30-hour degree plan (thesis) may select only one Human Sciences course.

(NOTE: Students who elect to study Applied Graphic Design should be proficient in photography or digital photography and basic computer problem-solving skills.)

Students combining writing and design as an area of concentration will chose four to seven of these courses.
