Margaret Caylor received an undergraduate degree from Harvard University in Social Relations (a combination of Sociology, Psychology, and Anthropology), a Masters of Social Work Degree from Louisiana State University, and a doctorate in Family Studies/Sociology from Texas Woman’s University.  She is a Professor Emeritus from College of the Mainland teaching sociology, psychology, social work and anthropology and in the Law Enforcement Academy for thirty years.  Dr. Caylor has taught at University of Houston-Clear Lake since 1978 as an adjunct faculty.  She has taught undergraduate sociology, criminology and psychology courses as well as Master’s level courses in both Criminology, Sociology and Psychology.  At present she is teaching Sex Crime, Crime and Mental Illness and for the Public Service Leadership Degree and Fire Service Administration, Management in Diversity, Crisis Management, and Minorities and Majorities.
