Effective Spring 2013, International Student Orientation will be MANDATORY for all new international students. You MUST pre-register for orientation online through your E-Services account. If you do not attend, a hold will be placed on your account, and you will not be allowed to enroll in classes for the following semester.
During orientation, you will have the opportunity to:
Submit final transcripts (if needed).
Complete Immigration check-in.
Learn about visa requirements and how to maintain your immigration status.
Attend workshops designed to introduce you to UHCL's procedures and campus life.
Meet your academic advisers and other friendly UHCL faculty and staff.
Meet current international students, who can introduce you to life in Houston and at UHCL.
