| Children's books can be found on the library's second level in the Juvenile section and in the Easy Book Room. All books in the Juvenile and Easy Book collections may be checked out for 3 weeks with the exception of the Newbery and Caldecott Medal winners reference collection, which is found in the Easy Book Room. |

| Non-fiction books are organized according to the Dewey Decimal classification system, still used in most public schools. |

| Fiction books are classified alphabetically by author, with designated "easy" books shelved together in the Easy Book Room. |

| The library also has a growing collection of juvenile media, including more than 500 CDs and DVDs. These materials are shelved in the Curriculum Library, next door to the Easy Book Room. CDs may be checked out for 3 weeks, and DVDs may be checked out for 1 week. |
