We provide diverse, unbiased scholarly collections and technologies to encourage and make possible the achievement of personal, institutional, and community goals. In particular we acknowledge:

  • The intellectual freedom and privacy rights of our users
  • The need to treat users, colleagues, and each other with respect and fairness
  • The need to listen and be responsive to our users, institution, and community
  • The creativity, initiative, and teamwork that we each must exhibit in order for the library to fulfill its mission
