If a patron cannot find an item, s/he may fill out a "Search" card at the Circulation Desk, and the library staff will begin looking for the item. Before a search is requested, the library requests that the patron check for the item, in both its regular location and on designated Sorting Shelves, on at least two non-consecutive days.
