Although you may use Neumann Library resources while you are in the library without having a library card, you must have a card in order to check out books.  We accept the following types of cards:
 
  • a current, valid UH System ID card
  • a UHCL Affiliate Borrower card
  • a TexShare card, which can be obtained from the participating Texas public library where you live, or from a participating Texas college or university where you are a student, staff, or faculty member.  Please contact your local librarian for more information. 
  • a HARLiC (Houston Area Research Libraries Consortium) card
  • a proper JSC identification card.
 
Library cards are not transferable and may only be used by the cardholder.
