To obtain a book listed in the UH catalog that is owned by another UH campus, use Library Catalog Book Express.
 
Using the library catalog,
 
  • Search for the book you want
  • Click the title to display the book record
  • Click the Request button at the top of the screen
  • Fill in the form and then click on the submit button
 
You will be notified by email when the book is ready to pick up. Notices are sent to your campus email address (UHCL students, faculty, and staff) or to the email account in your library patron record (JSC, community borrowers).
 
  • Please make sure that you enter the correct email address. Books will be sent back within 7 days if not picked up.
  • Don’t forget to configure your email to allow receipt of mail from the following domains:
