At the request of UHCL faculty members, reference librarians will provide instruction for a specific class, focusing on information resources and strategies that are appropriate to the subject and discipline or to a specific class assignment. Course-integrated library instruction, which includes hands-on practice with electronic resources, may be scheduled by calling the Reference Desk (281-283-3910) or completing the form below. The more advance notice provided, the more likely that your preferred date and time can be accommodated.

Neumann Library also offers individual reference appointments to students, faculty, and staff who would like one-on-one instruction or assistance with library resources (call the Reference Desk at 281-283-3910, or submit a Reference Appointment Form).

This form may be used only by UHCL faculty to request instruction on library resources for a course taught onsite at the UHCL campus. For offsite courses, please contact Susan Steele at (281)283-3915 or steele@uhcl.edu. Faculty are asked to provide a minimum of one week advance notice to accommodate scheduling and planning needs and the preparation of appropriate course materials. Submitting this request does not constitute a firm reservation for instructional services. We will contact you to confirm when your class has been scheduled.
