Due to licensing restrictions, only UH-Clear Lake students, faculty, and staff may access most of the subscription databases provided by Neumann Library from any computer with an internet connection.

Any database that may not be accessed from off-campus has the symbol after its name.

From an off-campus computer:
Go to the Neumann Library Databases page.
Click on the name of a database.
On the Patron Authentication screen:
Type your LIBRARY BARCODE in the Library Barcode box
Type your LAST NAME in the Last Name box (not case sensitive)
Click the SUBMIT QUERY button


 
 
 
What is a library barcode?
for Students:
  • 200 and the seven digits of your UHCL student ID number.  Example: 2000987456.
  • Printed on the back of your UHCL ID card under the barcode.
  • Your student ID number is printed on your fee statement.
for Faculty & Staff:
  • 200 and the seven digits of your empl ID number.
  • Printed on the back of your UHCL ID card under the barcode.
If this number does not work, please come in to the library with your UHCL ID card so that we can update your record to give you access to the databases.
