There are several ways to look for biographical information about a person. If the following suggestions don't yield results, consult a reference librarian.
- Look in biographical dictionaries and encyclopedias in the library's Reference Area, including such works as Current Biography Yearbook (1942 to present, CT 100 .C8) and the 24-volume American National Biography (CT 213 .A68 1999, plus supplements).
- Search a database like MAS Ultra - School Edition, which includes over 85,000 biographical records.
- Search the Library Catalog for books, using the person's name (last name first) as your subject.
- Consider looking for electronic biographical dictionaries in NetLibrary Reference Center database.
