The Modern Language Association of America refers high school and undergraduate students to MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers (7th ed.; Reference and Reference Desk LB 2369 .G53 2009) and graduate students, scholars, and professional writers to MLA Style Manual and Guide to Scholarly Publishing (3rd ed.; Reference PN 147 .G444 2008).
